Static Structural Analysis for a Honeycomb Design with different boundary conditions and finding different results such as deformations, stress, strain and many more.
About this project
The engineering challenge is to predict how well the finished product will perform under real-world working conditions. This involves considering stresses and deformation as well as a range of failure criteria. honeycomb Core is used in many applications like aircraft, buildings, etc. in this particular simulation a honeycomb core is simulated against static structural by applying a load, pressure on different faces with different conditions such as cantilever or fixed beam. A most important analysis of this simulation is finding out of plane elastic modulus. Out of Plane analysis is done by applying load in a particular direction and finding deformation, stress, and strain in that particular direction. Therefore three different times load is applied in x, y, and z-direction to simulate out plane analysis. I here have taken two conditions first cantilever beam and the second is a fixed beam. It was very easy and interesting to simulate here and the time consumed was even less as compared to other software.
