About this project

The aim of this project is to find the correct coefficient of drag (cD) for a Helium filled party balloon of 0.8m diameter. The simple sphere and the most common natural shape of balloons are investigated. Steady state k-omega SST CFD simulation will be used for this purpose since it is the most commonly used type for external CFD simulations. In order to find a correct value one has to provide a correct mesh for this setup. Later this will be discussed in the comment section below.
