About this project

In the present investigation, a continuous elastic plate of size 400mm x 300mm x 10mm and made up of steel with special shaped cutouts will be modeled and discretized using a Finite Element Method. Effect of the geometry of cutouts on the stress distribution around the hole will be studied. The results of various analyses will be presented with the help of tables, graphs and nodal plots.
